NEW CONTEMPORARY DANCE CLASS COMES TO LOUTH

 

When starting the contemporary dance class your dance tutor will ask you to fill in a Safe to Exercise Form about any medical conditions so the dance tutor can tailor the sessions accordingly. We also suggest that if you are unsure about exercising with a medical condition then you should seek medical advice before attending the class. The information collected on the Safe to Exercise Form will not be shared with others but used soley by do-dance.

Throughout the class the dance tutor will explain the different movements, and show you alternatives so you can always join in. It is important that you work at your own pace and only do what feels comfortable to you.

Come along on Thursday evenings for our NEW Line Dancing class in Louth Town Hall, Bar opens from 7pm class starts at 7:30pm.

DANCE FITNESS CLASS IN LOUTH

An hour of HIIT dance fitness class in Louth; shape, tone and condition your body whilst dancing to your favourite beats. It’s an all over body workout with High-Intensity Interval Training. Dance along to classic songs from the 60s to 2017!

Founder of do-dance Sophie Watkinson is officially East Lindsey Business Award Winner Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2017.

On Friday 19th May, founder of do-dance Sophie attend the first East Lindsey Business Awards at Kennick Park Hotel with her family to celebrate being nominated for Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2017.

Accepting the Award from Coun Steve Kirk, Sophie explained that she set up do-dance 3 years ago, with support from the Prince’s Trust after returning to Lincolnshire following graduating in Dance Theatre from Plymouth University.

“She gave a a ‘big thank you’ to the Trust for helping get her business off the ground, and joked that she could ‘probably’ teach the host Melvyn Prior to dance – while he very much disagreed!” Louth Leader.

Sophie went on to be interviewed by Melvyn Prior for his Morning Radio show on BBC Lincolnshire, along with Steve Kirk and two other Winners, Exporter of the Year 2017 Shelton Sports Turf Drainage Ltd, and Excellence in Digital Innovation 2017 Root 2 Recruitment Ltd.

Everybody deserves the opportunity to discover the way their body moves and be able to express themselves creatively through movement and dance in Lincolnshire. Creative expressive movement allows us to explore our body through movement and the different ways we can use our bodies to create and express ourselves through dance. do-dance is a mobile business that prides itself on providing a dance movement that is on trend with some of the biggest cities across the UK and Europe, bringing it into the heart of the rural community in schools and community halls all over Lincolnshire and especially in the Louth area.
